Danny Minton
Danny has been a film critic for TV, Radio, Newspaper, and Web since 2000. He knew he wanted to do this, though, since he was a child. While other kids were watching cartoons on Saturday morning, Danny was tuning in to Siskel and Ebert. While other kids worshipped Spiderman, Danny couldn’t get enough of Woody Allen. While his friends were busy watching the latest slasher flicks, Danny was watching reruns of Hitchcock and Coppola. His favorite modern film is The Shawshank Redemption and his favorite classic is Patton. Lucky for him, his nerdhood didn’t keep him out of the dating scene, and he was lucky enough to marry his wife Chrissy in 2006. He is currently the film critic for the Beaumont Journal, the Southeast Texas weekly newspapers, www.rottentomatoes.com, www.crunchonthis.com, www.dannyminton.com, and is a frequent guest on many radio and TV segments throughout Beaumont and Houston.
