Jared Counts
"Jared Counts, originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, moved to Houston in 1995, survived high school and college, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a degree in Communications (Media Production) and a minor in Film Studies. After being hired part-time at KUHF Radio in early 2003, he proceeded to bounce between departments, helping with special events and media sponsorships before working in underwriting and interning with the audio production staff. He became a full-time employee in February 2007, when he moved to the new-created Communications Department and started work in web development/IT. Jared has been writing reviews for the KUHF website since November 2006, when fellow KUHFer and "Music From the Movies" host Regina Scruggs asked if he wouldn't mind helping her review a few DVDs, and it's been all downhill from there. Jared currently lives with his cat Marge and spends much of his free time nursing a never-ending Netflix queue."
